Charges yet to be laid following stabbing attack in Paige

ACT Policing has established a dedicated team to investigate the death of a 34 year old man in Braine Street in Paige that occurred on Saturday.

At this stage, the name of the man hasn’t being released.

Two men aged 28 and 36, as well as a 20 year old woman remain in hospital receiving treatment for injuries.

Teenagers arrested following house fire in Goulburn

Two teenage boys have been arrested over a house fire in Goulburn yesterday morning.

Police say a 64-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were asleep inside when the boys allegedly poured accelerant around the property and set it alight.

Unemployment rises in the ACT

Latest figures from the ABS have revealed an increase to unemployment in the ACT from .7 per cent to 4.4 per cent.

It bucks a national trend, but the unemployment rate in the Territory still remains below the national average of 6.4 per cent.
