Evacuation centre to scale back opening hours

The Erindale Evacuation Centre will scale back opening hours over the coming days, as fire fighters continue to battle the Orroral Valley bushfire.

The centre will be open today and tomorrow from 9am to 5pm.

The enormous fire south of Canberra has now burnt through more than 80 thousand hectares and continues to burn at an ADVICE level this morning.
