Mid-Winter Talk: The Invertebrates of Black Mountain.

Invertebrates are intriguing, fascinating and eye-catching at times. Come along to learn more about them at this talk by entomologist Kim Pullen. About 2150 species of insects, arachnids, millipedes and velvet worms have been recorded on Black Mountain, although scientists studying them estimate that there are more than 5000 species of invertebrate in the reserve. Kim will introduce us to the diverse insect life on Black Mountain and its characteristics.

To get to the theatrette, drive to the top of Black Mountain, follow the road under the walkway, turn right into parking. Walk back and enter at this (lower) ground level, and follow signs.
